A Great Review of Possible Treatments for Advanced Prostate Cancer

The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) just published an e mail review entitled “When Treatment Stops Working, Blame Resistance.” It describes multiple ways of treating advanced prostate cancer including androgen receptor blockers such as enzalutamide and abiraterone, chemotherapy, targeted drugs such as PARP inhibitors (olaparib and rucaparib), immunotherapy including checkpoint inhibitors, bipolar hormonal therapy, SBRT radiation, liquid biopsy and radiopharmaceuticals.
